Moonah Sounds of the World concert series is back this March to celebrate the rich diversity of culture in Tasmania through music and dance!

Every Saturday evening in March, Moonah Arts Centre will be host to a different line up, from South Sudanese traditional party music to carnival tunes from the Andean region of South America. 

For the first instalment on Saturday 4 March,  Afro Mambo trio and the East Africa Project + Amoko. Plus, members of the Madi Adungu Band, playing South Sudanese traditional party music will join Mwase Makalani and the Mambo Afro Trio exploring the Chichewa traditions of Malawi to Kwela, South African Blues and jazz. A night of extraordinary collaboration, energetic songs about war, love, life, death and family.

Joined at the Moonah Arts centre by Amoko, Tasmanian South Sudanese rapper, with an energetic show comprising Afro Dancehall and rap.
