Spring Morel Dinner w/ Matt & Jo (Force of Nature Food Co.)

Join us at The Chandlery for a very special event ; the Spring Morel Dinner, a shared dining experience celebrating the beginning of Spring and the ever so brief moment one of natures elusive treats makes an appearance.

The morel season is fleeting and mysterious, lasting only a few weeks each year. For over a decade, Matt and Jo from Force of Nature Food Co have been developing morel spots across Victoria, some as far as 800 km apart, and will share the humbling process behind bringing these rare delicacies to the table. Together, we’ll explore their unique depth of flavour and celebrate spring produce across a multi-course menu designed for shared dining.

Matt and Jo will join us on the night for a Q and A to share their story from foraging to farming, and the effort that goes into harvesting their exceptional morels.

• Shio koji and chestnut miso "Loddon Estate" whole chicken, woodfire roasted with morels and sauce Vin Jaune
  Spring vegetables and fresh-picked salad with rhubarb vinaigrette
