About: This is not a traditional concert, but an interactive sound journey. Guided by Nienke & David, you are warmly encouraged to join in through mantra singing and deep listening, creating a shared sense of unity, community, and belonging.
A journey of song and sound where voices rise together, weaving original heart songs, and ancient mantras from around the world. Accompanied by guitar, harmonium, and frame drum, we chant to quiet the mind, open the heart, and awaken the body’s natural rhythms.
Mantras are sacred sounds, words, or phrases that carry spiritual significance. Repeating them helps quiet the mind, balance the body, and cleanse the energy centres (chakras), creating a profound sense of peace and well-being.
Unlike a traditional performance, everyone is encouraged to join in, creating a sense of oneness, unity, community and belonging, through the universal language of sound.
Nienke & David are devoted to uniting and uplifting humanity through song, sound and silence. Together they offer chanting circles and sound baths with original mantra music, accompanied by acoustic guitar, harmonium, flute, didgeridoo, and a colourful array of sound healing instruments. Their gentle voices and harmonies create space for deep healing, self-expression, and connection.
Nienke is a qualified sound therapy practitioner who has offered countless chanting circles and sound baths across Australia, performing with renowned musicians including Sacred Earth, Chris Lane, and Kate B. David has played guitar for over 40 years and is a master didgeridoo player, touring Europe and Australia with Kevin James Carroll and offering music at whale retreats, sacred events, and festivals. Together, they have performed at Woodford Folk Festival, Prana Festival, Earth Frequency, Island Vibes, and more.
