In this class you will make two small holiday ornaments for your home or as gifts to give to friends and loved ones. In this class you will make heavily bejeweled mosaic ornaments using glass beads and gems, mirror, tiles, and other found items. There will be bottomless beads and bobbles and wonderful tiles and mirror to choose from! This is a great experience for friends, family members and couples to enjoy together for the holidays. In this class you will learn:

• The types of beads and tiles to use.

• The best adhesives to use for beads.

• How to use beads and tile together to create an intricate look and feel;

• Tips and tricks on keeping all rows straight and even.

• Basic design and color considerations.

• How to use small mirror glass.

About the Artist

Theresa Arico is currently a production mosaic artist of large-scale mosaic mural installations and outdoor garden/public sculptures. She has been teaching project focused mosaic classes for students to become familiar with this art-form of antiquity. Students learn old and new mosaic techniques in order to become successful with their own mosaic projects. She is currently on the board of the Orange County Artists Guild and shows her work in galleries and shows throughout NC.
