Mothering You
Description
Mothering You is a soulful 4-week music therapy circle for mothers and babies, created to support connection, nervous system regulation, and maternal wellbeing. Facilitated by Registered Music Therapist Georgia Pitts.
Held inside a serene yoga studio in Noosa Heads, this intimate experience blends music therapy and circle facilitation to create a space where mothers can slow down, sing, exhale, and feel held amongst other women.
Together we will explore:
• musical mantras
• familiar songs and soothing nursery rhymes
• grounding through rhythm, breath, and voice
• connection with self and baby
• gentle shared music experiences
This group is intentionally small, with no more than 6 mothers, allowing for a calm, connected, and supportive environment.
You do not need to be “good at singing” or have any musical experience to attend. This space is centred around connection, relaxation and not performance.
Mothering You is a 50 minute in person song circle each week, supported by gentle music and grounding resources you can return to at home during the program and long after it has finished.

- Who is this group for?
Mothering You is designed for mothers with babies in the early years, 0-1. Pre crawling and early crawling babies are especially suited to the calm and intimate nature of the group.
- Do I need any musical experience?
Not at all. No singing or musical experience is needed. The focus is on connection, co regulation, and shared experience rather than performance.
We are all innately musical and our bodies (including our babies) are primed to respond to music.
In fact, YOUR VOICE is your superpower. It is your baby's favourite voice. In third trimester, your baby can recognise your voice.
- What if my baby cries, feeds, or needs settling during the session?
Babies are welcome exactly as they are. Feeding, rocking, moving around, and tending to your baby are all completely normal and expected within the space.
- What makes this different from a typical mums and bubs group?
It is ran by a Masters Trained Registered Music Therapist. Georgia will be trained in the certified program Rhythm Breath and Lullaby (RBL) course prior to the group commencing.
Georgia, as an RMT, understands the intentional use of music to support several domains of wellbeing and she has 6+ years worth of experience and understanding of childhood development.
Mothering You is intentionally centred around maternal wellbeing and nervous system support, while also nurturing connection between mother and baby through music, voice, rhythm, and shared experience.
- How many mothers are in each group?
Groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 8 mothers, to support a calm, connected, and gently held environment.
- Why is this offered as a 4 week commitment?
Mothering You is intentionally designed as a 4 week experience to allow mothers time to settle into the space, build familiarity, and experience the gentle rhythm of the group over time. Consistency supports both calm and connection, helping the experience feel deeper and more grounding than a casual drop in session.
- Will this group run again?
Yes. Mothering You is intended to become an ongoing offering. This first round is being offered at a special foundation price for 4 weeks as I thoughtfully shape and grow the program in its early stages. Thank YOU for being part of it's initial blooming!
- Will I receive anything to use at home between sessions?
Yes. Mothers will also receive access to simple home based ideas, soothing mantras and playlists that can be gently woven into everyday life with baby between sessions.
