Say it best with Mother's Day at The Grounds.
Make it a Mother’s Day to remember by indulging mum (and the rest of the family) with a beautiful feast minus the washing up. Hosted in The Atrium, guests will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, followed by canapés and a shared main course prepared by Executive Chef, Paul McGrath.
Roast Lunch seatings will take place at:
- 11:30 am - 1:30pm
- 2:30 pm - 4:30pm

Sunday Roast Lunch Menu
(340.0 per table of four, feeds up to 4 adults)
On Arrival:
- A selection of canapés
- Freshly baked assorted sourdough from The Grounds Bakery
Main Course:
- Whole roasted rib of 6 weeks dry aged Cape grim grass-fed beef, brioche crumbed bone marrow, wild Autumn mushrooms, horseradish sauce and red wine jus.
Sides:
- Sautéed Greens with black garlic butter
- Pan roasted Lyonnaise potatoes with sweet onions and tarragon
- Glazed heirloom root vegetables with maple
- Cauliflower and gruyere gratin
- Salad of garden leaves with lemon vinaigrette
Additional Options
(40.0 per table of four, feeds up to 4 adults)
Appetisers :
- 12 freshly shucked Port Stephens Rock Oysters with yuzu and toasted sesame
- Duck liver parfait with slow-cooked rabbit rillettes and mandarin vinegar
- Citrus cured ocean trout with horseradish cream and seaweed toasts
Dessert:
- A sharing board of desserts, chef's selection

Choice of:
- Crumbed, Sustainable Hoki with sweet potato chips and lemon mayo (DF)
- Mini Grass-Fed Beef Cheeseburger with chips and tomato sauce
- Market, Grilled Fish Fillet with potato & broccoli salad (GF/DF)
- Fresh Egg Pasta with organic tomato ragout & fresh parmesan (DF on request)
(15.0 per child, must be added as an extra if needed)
Please Note:
- This event is available for tables of 4 and up only. Whilst the roast is designed to serve multiples of 4, group sizes in between 4, 8 and 12 are welcomed (i.e. 6). We recommend adding additional options on top of a roast for these parties.
- The entire meal is designed to be shared. Unfortunately, due to the shared nature of this meal, we are unable to replace a meal for one guest. As an example, if a table requests a vegan meal; it must be for the entire table.
- A table for 4 includes canapés on arrival and a shared main course with the option to add additional entrees and a dessert board to complete your meal.
- A glass of sparkling on arrival (18+ only).
- Additional beverages will be available to purchase on the day.
- Kids meals are available, please ensure you have the correct quantity at checkout.
