Step into and learn about the Nia Technique in this Movement Exploration Workshop with Mel! A barefoot, joyful, low impact movement exploration inspired by gentle soul-stirring music. Explore a unique blend of martial arts and dance arts with gentle flow and mindfulness that benefits your body, mind, emotions and spirit. A 1.5hour guided invitation to explore how you move in your body and build a relationship and awareness with your body's wisdom. About your teacher:
Melinda is based on the Northern Beaches in Dee Why and is a Certified Nia Blue Belt & Nia 5 Stages Instructor. Melinda has a passion for movement dance. She enjoys a way of life that always nourishes the mind, body and soul together, and wishes to share her knowledge and wisdom through Nia to explore movement as a way of healing. Melinda also has a performing arts background, so her expertise and love for movement and creative expression always shines through and loves supporting like-minded souls to joyfully express their true self and find movement as a way of feeling better in your body in a safe and supportive environment.
