Multicultural Fall Family Fest 2025
Event description
Join us for a joyful morning celebrating the stories, customs, and traditions that make up our global Jewish community!
Enjoy a lively mix of family-friendly activities and stations featuring art, music, hands-on crafts, and interactive experiences inspired by Jewish cultures from around the world. Try your hand at henna art, join a drumming circle, take part in a community service project, sample tasty treats, and more!
Bringing toddlers or little ones who might need a break from the excitement? Step into our dedicated JPlay! Room—a cozy space inspired by our Sunday play sessions, featuring music, storytime with PJ Library, and open play with blocks, magnetic tiles, and more.
📚 PJ LIBRARY BOOK SWAP
Do you have a bunch of PJ Library Books that your kids have outgrown? Bring them along to drop off at our Book Swap station and refresh your bookshelves with new titles!
🥫 DONATE TO OUR FOOD DRIVE
SNAP interruptions are increasing many families' stress and food insecurity. At this event, we are collecting food donations to be distributed to CHiPS food pantry. Please join us in supporting our Brooklyn neighbors.
The highest need is for items that don’t have to be cooked on a stove or are ready to eat (i.e. microwavable meals instead of canned goods) - see a full list here.
This event is open to the greater Brooklyn Jewish community—RSVP and invite your friends and family!
The Senesh School is proud to bring this celebration to life through programmatic and promotional partnerships with incredible organizations that highlight the rich diversity of Jewish life (list in formation): American Sephardi Federation, Ammud Jews of Color Torah Academy, Be'chol Lashon, Encore Music, Flatbush Jewish Center, Israeli American Council, JCC Brooklyn, Jewtina y Co, LUNAR Collective, PJ Library, Repair the World, SAMi (Sephardic American Mizrahi initiative), Sephardic Mizrahi Q Network, and Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp
