Music for Mark’s Country Place: A Classical Baroque Concert Supporting Inclusion in Kyneton

Music lovers from across Victoria are invited to visit Kyneton and enjoy an afternoon of exceptional classical music while supporting the establishment of a much-needed inclusive garden and recreational space for people with disability and their families.

Music for Mark’s Country Place is a special concert arranged by Arzu Yuvarlak-Danaher of A Rounded Music Education. Featuring a delightful Baroque program of exquisite music that celebrates the beauty of nature, with works by Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, and Biber, the concert will take place at 2.00 pm on Sunday, 1 March 2026, at the Kyneton Mechanics Institute. The performance will be followed by refreshments (included), providing an opportunity for musicians and audience members to connect and share in the experience.

The concert will be performed by distinguished Melbourne Symphony Orchestra musicians Isin Cakmakcioglu (violin), Roger Young (violin), Gabriella Halloran (viola), and Rohan de Korte (cello), alongside soloist mezzo-soprano Kristen Leich, a Kyneton resident.

All proceeds from the concert will support the establishment of Mark’s Country Place in Kyneton — an all-access garden and recreational space open to people with disability, their families, carers, and the wider community.

Concession tickets are available for students, children, seniors/pensioners, people with disability, careers or companions, unemployed or low-income individuals, veterans.
