Bach in the Dark Live! Music for cello, clarinet and percussion
Event description
Bach in the Dark is going to Harden Murrumburrah!
Rachel is delighted to be performing in this beautiful part of NSW with Harden Murrumburrah local (and clarinet legend!) Deborah de Graaff, and percussionist Ben Sibson.
The three friends will fill the beautiful space of Ross Memorial Uniting Church with music that will make you smile, tap your toes, and make your heart sigh with pleasure…. The program will include lots of dances – Music from ‘Terpsichore’ by Praetorius, the second cello suite by Bach for cello and percussion (Bach like you’ve never heard it before!), music inspired by Bach for clarinet and cello, a tango, some Balkan folk music – and a few musical surprises! There’ll be something for everyone…
On-line ticket sales will STOP at 2pm on Saturday March 19.
This concert is proudly supported by FREEMAN Vineyards (Hilltops NSW) - a small specialist winery with a passion for Italian inspired wines. The portfolio includes estate grown and made Prosecco, Rosé, Pinot Grigio and a clutch of Italian varietal red wines – Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and the flagship FREEMAN Secco. After the concert, you'll be served either FREEMAN Bianco Pinot Grigio (2021) or FREEMAN Rosso Corvina Rondinella (2017) - delicious! Who knows, you might even want to order some afterwards to remember this fabulous evening!
