My Business Dream Workshop at VAHS

First Nations Foundation proudly pair with Jinkigi Consultancy to welcome you to join us at VAHS for a business finance workshop, My Business Dream with our Indigenous Business Training Facilitator, Lateisha Vincent.

When: Friday, 19th July 2024.

Time: 11:00AM - 3:00PM. 

Where: VAHS, Unit 2/22 Victoria Crescent, St Albans Victoria, 3021

We will be providing lunch, soft drinks and juice!

This Community Event is welcome for all LGBTQIASB+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to attend, our Rainbow Mob.


First Nations Foundation’s business finance program, My Business Dream (MBD) has been created by Indigenous people, for Indigenous people to help provide access to essential learning skills on how to start and run a sustainable business.

We will be looking at the following business start-up topics:

    • Side hustle vs Business.
    • Developing a business plan.
    • Business structures and how to identify the right structure for your business.
    • How to develop a pricing strategy for products and/or services, based on your income goal.
    • Cost of Goods (CoGs).
    • Profit.
    • Resources for Grants and Loans.
    • Self-worth and limiting beliefs – having the courage (and community) to make your business dream, your reality!

    This workshop is ideal for Mob who:

    • Have a business idea.
    • Are business curious.
    • Have a business in the start-up phase.
    • Want to learn more about starting and owning a business.


    All of our modules are written, presented, and taught with the intention of empowering our people to be in control of their finances, as their biggest investment is themselves.

    She is the Indigenous Business Training Facilitator at First Nations Foundation; this looks like hosting monthly webinars and workshops for My Business Dream (MBD) around Victoria.

    My Business Dream has been created by Indigenous people, for Indigenous people to help provide access to essential learning skills on how to start a business.

    Lateisha's passionate and practical approach in assisting Mob with their business plans, start-up's and accessing capital, ensures for a culturally safe space to explore business finance for your business.
