When you are raising a child with disability there is a lot to think about and a lot to do. From fitting in therapy and medical appointments into your family schedule to navigating challenges with feeding, sleep, and daily routines—it can be a lot to manage.

Join this peer group discussion to share strategies and learn tips from other families about how they make it work. We will uncover how to balance and manage daily life while making time to look after yourself in the process. Ask for advice from the group, share your experiences, and connect with other families.

This event is facilitated by Kristy

Kristy is the proud parent of Dash, an inquisitive, gentle-hearted, and wonderfully funny 8-year-old. Dash is Autistic, has ADHD, and global development delay. Kristy likes to say that Dash "got it from his Mama", as she identifies as AuDHD herself. A passionate advocate for her family, Kristy thrives as a parent peer facilitator, dedicated to sharing her insights, celebrating neurodivergent joy, and connecting with other families on a similar journey.

Who is this event for?

MyTime is for parents and caregivers raising a child with disability, developmental delay or autism.
