Here is everything you need to know to prepare for the Narrm One Day Choir:

Choose a part and practice the song beforehand (after we send them out on October 3rd):

On the day, we will be singing 'So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings' by Caroline Polachek. You will sing a harmony part that suits your voice, whether it's high, low, or a mid part somewhere in between! On October 3rd, we will send out an email with recordings of each of the parts, as well as sheet music and lyric sheets so that you can familiarise yourself with the parts in a way that suits you, and choose which one you might like to sing. We will also go through these on the day.

The space:

We are singing in a dance studio space, called Shebang. There are bathrooms at the back of the room and you can leave to get fresh air whenever you need to. The Atrium at the front entrace is also available throughout as a quiet break out space if needed.

Seating / standing:

Most people in the choir will stand for most of the session.
We will provide chairs for people who need to sit for the entire duration.

You can also bring your own cushion or mat if you are comfortable sitting on the floor.

Tea and coffee:

We will provide tea and fruit that you are all welcome to on the day.

What to bring:

A water bottle
If you want to use the sheet music to read the music, please print this yourself (we will provide printed song lyrics)
Your own cushion or mat if you'd like the option of sitting on the ground
