Meet at Gordon Darling Hall (entry foyer) at 11:30, or catch up with us along the way. The route we will follow is marked in orange - my yellow wide-brim hat should hopefully make me easy to spot!
When you arrive, please find me so that I can scan your ticket, give you a name tag and explain our Connection Colour System. After this I will give you a clipboard, some paper, and HB and 2B pencils. Please don't bring any of your own materials - the Gallery has specific rules about what is allowed.
We will wander along the marked route, stopping to draw whenever we're feeling inspired. There is no expectation to stay with the group and the map will show you roughly where we're going to be if you want to catch up to us.
We will spend around an hour moving through galleries, then meet back at Gordon Darling Hall. At this point you may choose to call it a day or to stick around for a chat. It's also totally fine to leave earlier. Please return your name badge and drawing materials when you are heading off.
I have reserved a table at the Portrait Cafe for 12:30 (green route) - everyone is welcome to join me at own expense, and if comfortable, share what they drew.
I will bring some fidget toys, but please bring anything else you know helps you regulate. I'm not a support worker and can't provide personal support during the event. If you have any questions or access needs, feel free to get in touch before the event.
