    Event description

Learn how to create habitat for beneficial bugs and grow a beautiful, balanced garden with productive vegetables, fruits and flowers.

You will also make and take home a native bee hotel for our local stingless bees.

Join facilitator Laura Bailey of Margaret River Organic Farmer to explore companion planting for fruit and vegetable growing, as well as a range of water-wise native plants adapted to our local conditions that encourage beneficial insects.

This workshop comprises a one hour presentation followed by a hands-on creation of a native bee hotel.  At the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with their own native bee hotel and the knowledge to create their own bee-friendly garden!

Complimentary organic teas & coffee included.

Suitable for: all bee enthusiasts (minimum 10 years old, all children need tickets & need to bee accompanied by an adult please).
