Nature & Forest Bathing with Mount Beerburrum
Event description
Experience your deepened nature connection with forest bathing along an accessible trail with views to the Glass House Mountains.
Forest bathing draws on a sequence of evidence-based activities to support us to slow down, become more present and comfortable outside and explore or deepen your own relationship with nature. We'll wander, share, sit and get to know the beings that call this place home in a group of up to 12.

About the trail
We'll meet at the Beerburrum Trailhead and journey along the Soldier Settlers Track. We'll be surrounded by mountains, rocks, bushland, casuarina forest, wildflowers and (most likely!) sunshine.
It's a fairly flat trail with some gentle rises and uneven rocky trail. You'll need a low to moderate fitness level to walk about 5km over the four hours. There is a public toilet nearby to the start of the trail.
If you're feeling energetic, you can make a full day of it by hiking further towards the Mount Tibrogargan trailhead and back, or if you're feeling really energetic, up to the fire tower on the top of Mount Beerburrum.
Beerburrum Trailhead is about a 60 minute drive north from Brisbane and 45 minute drive south from Maroochydore.
