Event description

Experience your deepened nature connection with nature bathing along an accessible trail through the protected coastal wallum heathland at Mooloolah River National Park

Nature bathing draws on a sequence of evidence-based activities to support us to slow down, become more present and comfortable outside and explore or deepen your own relationship with nature. We'll wander, share, sit and get to know the beings that call this place home in a group of up to 12.

About the trail

We'll meet at the Mooloolah River National Park trailhead and journey along the Boronia Trail. We'll be surrounded by melaleuca woodland, freshwater streams, sandy soils, wallum heathland and maybe a few wildflowers.

It's a fairly flat trail with some uneven rocky trail and creek crossings. You'll need a low to moderate fitness level to walk about 5km over the four hours. There is not a public toilet at the trail.

Mooloolah River National Park is about 1 hour and 20 minutes drive north from Brisbane and 20 minute drive south from Maroochydore.
