Nature Mindfulness
Event description
Nature Mindfulness
Join us for an immersive, nature-based experience designed to gently slow us down, deepen our breath, reconnect us with ourselves, each other, and the living world surrounding us.
Guided by an experienced ecopsychologist, these sessions offer simple yet powerful practices that strengthen ecological awareness and foster nourishing community relationships.
Together, we will explore practices that cultivate presence, awaken intuition, and nurture a sense of belonging to the wider web of life. Each session begins with simple guidelines to help you cross a threshold of stepping into an imaginal space of presence and possibility. These practices and techniques can be incorporated and repeated, even amidst the busyness of city living.
Benefits we aim for include soothing our nervous system, restoring a sense of belonging, fostering mindfulness and emotional balance, and feeling rejuvenated. A large body of scientific research spanning decades notes the benefits nature has on our health and wellbeing, including:
Calming the nervous system, reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and mental fatigue
Reconnecting with a sense of place and purpose
Cultivating mindfulness and emotional resilience
Feeling renewed, grounded, and more connected
