    Event description

We all know that effective incident management systems are necessary for the Quality and Safety of services provided to NDIS participants.

However, interpreting NDIS requirements and tailoring these to the size and scope of your organisation can be tricky. Unfortunately, sometimes we only find out that our incident management systems need work when something goes wrong.

In this workshop, we take a deep dive into the NDIS system requirements for incident management systems and identify specific actions to proactively strengthen your approach to incident management. We also learn and discuss why effective quality and risk management is important for your incident management. You will gain the essential skills and capabilities to identify the current state of your incident management system and identify any gaps or areas for improvement.

Tea and coffee are provided during the workshop, lunch is not provided but there are options at the venue and nearby shopping centre.

What will you take away from this workshop?

    • Test your knowledge and understanding with a recap of the current regulations, key Royal Commission preliminary findings, guidance material and expectations relating to incident management systems for NDIS Providers.
