Needle Felted Gifts: Special Edition Cottages (Gingerbread Houses!) with Heather
Event description
What’s it all about?Â
Needle felting is the process of turning loose wool into a solid felt using a barbed needle - it’s a very easy craft that doesn’t require extensive equipment. And the final result is really cute, tactile objects - for fun or function - in vibrant colours.Â
You'll be taught how to create basic 2D and 3D shapes, and using the same structure for Heather's popular cottage pin cushions, we'll be running a brand new class...GINGERBREAD HOUSES! This design is not only extremely sweet, but functional as a pin cushion as the wool will actually prevent your pins and needles from rusting.
As well as all instructions and materials, you will also be provided with tools and materials to continue needle felting at home.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners, and all equipment is supplied.
What will we cover?
This hands-on workshop will teach:
- The basics of needle felting
- Tools and their purposes
- Creating small 2D or 3D accessories
- Other project ideas!
