Nelson Tasman Climate Forum November Hui - Workshop on climate emotions

Come and join our next face to face Hui. 

This one, held in the very modern Saxton Oval cricket venue, will be an important moment in the life of our Forum.

Both mayors will sign our charter on behalf of their respective councils and we will hold our annual selection of our leadership group.

You don't want to miss this!

But beyond that, with an update on the various actions undertaken by our different members, a Science Spot on the role of methane in climate change, as well as an update on COP 26, there will be plenty to talk about.

Talk and reflect, as we will also take some time to focus on our Forum: what works, what needs to be improved,... to ensure that we can continue to work together.

And, last but not least, the afternoon will be dedicated to welcoming our emotions, recognizing and curbing our anxiety about the state of our planet and what lies ahead.

With the help of Inna Alex, from Inna Evolution, and the tools developed by The Work that Reconnects, we will look deeper into our emotions and develop our ability to be with, express and transform our feelings of despair, grief, anger and fear around the climate and the state of our world.

This part on climate-related emotions will be divided into two parts: an introduction, and an opportunity to go deeper for those who want and have more time in the afternoon.

Do not hesitate to talk about it around you and to invite new participants. The day is flexible, with registration possible at different times. It is therefore the time to invite new faces. 

The Event is free, but for catering reasons (lunch is offered) as well as for Covid ones, we really need your registration to be able to welcome you in the best conditions.

Please also be sure to bring your face mask and sign or scan the Covid register at the entrance. Once inside, please also keep your distances with each others.
