Event description

I am very excited to share this ancient form of weaving using strappy leaf plants. During this 4 hour workshop you will learn the braiding technique to create either a vessel or sculptural form.

Previous weaving experience is required, this technique is a little tricky for beginners but please get in touch to discuss if you're not sure.

All materials and equipment

Includes tea/coffee and delicious nourishing lunch

Tour of our 1 acre garden oasis where you will learn about harvesting and preparation of plant materials for weaving

Small group sizes allow for plenty of one on one tuition as required

Peaceful and tranquil space, community connection, inspiration and individual creativity is encouraged

*Plant materials used may differ slightly from what is pictured due to seasonal availability

PLEASE NOTE

There are a couple of steep sections on the paved pathway to get up to the studio, please get in touch to discuss access to the studio if you are at all concerned or require assistance.

You will receive a reminder email prior to the event but don't forget to put it into your calendar!

The studio address and other details for your arrival will be sent through in the reminder email a couple of days prior to the workshop date. Please keep an eye out as sometimes this can land in your junk folder..
