Nerve Block Workshop

Join the EMUGs team for a nerve block workshop.

- The Hunter Centre, University of Otago, 279 Great King Street, Dunedin North, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand

This is a unique opportunity to learn and practice nerve block techniques. 

The morning will include nerve block anatomy and techniques (incorporating upper and lower limb) including hands-on scanning of live models in The Hunter Centre at the University of Otago.

After lunch, we will move across to the cadavar lab to further hone your nerve block skills. The following nerve blocks will be covered:

1. Femoral nerve/ Peng
2. Lower Limb Nerve Blocks
3. Serratus Plane
4. Erector Spinae
5. Upper Limb Nerve Blocks
