Nesting Box Workshop

Come along to the Upper PlentyMerri Catchments Landcare Group nesting box workshop and help protect our wonderful native wildlife including Possums, Gliders, Phascogales, Birds and roosting boxes for Microbats. We will also have a collection of hollow logs donated to convert into suitable Nest Boxes for a nominal amount. A range of plans are available for boxes to suit a wide range of species.

Construction will be supervised by our experienced Landcare Facilitator, Chris Cobern.

Go home with a nest box that just needs to be painted on the outside and installed. A photo of the completed nest box installed will be required for our citizen Science records. We will also demonstrate how to place and inspect your nest box for best results.

Materials supplied by Bunnings Craigieburn and tools provided by members of the Landcare Group

Lunch is included in your ticket price.
