Hazards

The Walk This is a walking journey rather than a static event. The total distance is approximately 3–4 km. We walk at a relaxed, conversational pace, with regular pauses for activities, reflection and observation. This is not a fitness walk; however, participants should feel comfortable walking up to 5 km over varied terrain. The exact route may change on the day due to weather, track conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, so expect the unexpected. The walk includes numerous steps, moderately steep inclines, and sections of uneven terrain. Some paths are narrow, unpaved, and may become slippery when wet. Parts of the journey follow a shared walking and cycling path, so we'll be mindful of cyclists and other trail users. We'll end the walk at a nearby café; it's an opportunity to reflect on the experience and connect with others before heading off.

Toilet location

There is one toilet available along the route in a carpark (accessible via a steep path or steps), and others in Victoria Gardens.
