Neuk Aberdeen Drop-In: Mend and repair clothing workshop
Description
Free but booking required
Join us for our monthly Neuk Aberdeen Drop-Ins, a fun and informative crafting session at the Out the Box Crafts studio, learning appliqué techniques to mend your clothing with.
Our team will be there to help you get creative and express yourself whilst making a simple yet versatile patch re-using scrap fabric that can transform holes into features and prolong the life of your clothing.
All necessary materials will be provided, so that you can just get stuck in and enjoy creating something unique using simple hand sewing techniques.
No previous experience is required, and our friendly team will be on hand to demonstrate using interfacing and fabric to create funky patches to take home.
This is a free meet-up for Aberdeen based neuro-divergent artists and creatives. It is not necessary to have a formal diagnosis and you do not need to consider yourself a professional artist.
Venue and Accessibility
Out the Box Crafts studio is accessible by 9 external stairs to the basement door. Once inside, it is all on one level and there is a gender neutral toilet on the premises.
