Neuk Glasgow: Creative Drop-in

Join us for our first Neuk Glasgow meet-up! This event will be a relaxed, welcoming creative drop-in where you can bring along your own project to work on or take part in a gentle creative exercise designed to help quiet the mind and encourage creative thinking.

This first event will include a low-pressure improvised drawing activity, with no artistic experience needed, as well as plenty of opportunity to chat and get to know other attendees at your own pace, if that feels comfortable. (A quiet space will be provided for those who wish to use it) 

It’s also a chance to meet the new Neuk Glasgow organisers, connect with other local creatives, and help shape this new space from the very beginning.

ND Artists of all disciplines are welcome.

Access

The Venue:

Creative Bloc Glasgow is an arts collective and creative studio in Glasgow North-West.
814 Garscube Road, G20 7ET.

The front entrance on Garscube Rd has one small step but there is level access from the rear entrance, accessed via the Firhill Rd carpark. The toilet is not fully Doc M compliant but has space for a wheelchair and is fitted with a single hand rail. There is a quieter breakout space separated from the main activity area by a curtained doorway. 

Parking:

There is free on-street parking to the front entrance and a free carpark at the rear entrance, accessed via Firhill Rd, behind Firhill House. The studio is numbered 814 on the rear door but we will also put up poster signage on the day of the event.

Public transport:

First busses 60, 60A, 61, Bluebird X10, X10A and West Coast Motors 17 all stop on Maryhill Road just 2 minutes walk away. Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross underground are both approx 17mins walk.
