Karlayura Rodeo Inc proudly presents: The Return of the Newman Rodeo

Newman hasn’t seen a rodeo since before COVID but that drought ends now!

When the chutes crack open and the dust starts to roll, the East Pilbara will come together once again to celebrate community, Rodeo pride, and the Pilbara way of life that makes this place so unique. Families, competitors, visitors, and locals will gather side‑by‑side as the arena comes alive in a way Newman hasn’t felt for years.

📅 Date: 12 September 2026

📍 Location: Newman Rodeo Grounds, Hobby Farm Road, Newman WA

“Red Dirt Roots, Outback Heart — where cowboy meets the East Pilbara.”

The Newman Rodeo has a long and proud history, having brought the community together for many years prior to COVID. In 2026, the tradition enters an exciting new chapter as Karlayura Rodeo Inc. hosts the event for the first time, proudly affiliated with the Australian Bushmen’s Campdraft & Rodeo Association (ABCRA). This year honours the legacy of the past while ushering in a fresh era of rodeo action in the East Pilbara.

This event is proudly supported by the Shire of East Pilbara, helping bring high‑quality, community‑driven events to the heart of the region.

🤠🔥 LIVE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCEMENT — BRADLEY HALL BAND LIVE AT NEWMAN RODEO 2026!

Karlayura Rodeo Inc is proud to welcome the Bradley Hall Band as a Gold Partner of Newman Rodeo 2026 and onto the stage!

🎸 Country rock from the heart of the Pilbara.

That’s how Bradley Hall describes his music, and it’s as honest as it gets: red dirt country, written out here, played out here, for the people who live it.

🎤 SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER — LIVE ON STAGE

The Bradley Hall Band fires up straight after the last bull of the day. The dust settles. The arena lights shift. And Newman keeps going.

But here’s what means the most Bradley didn’t just take a booking. He offered his support, backing a local event with his own music. That’s community looking after community, and we don’t take it lightly.

To Bradley and the band thank you for standing with us in the East Pilbara. We can’t wait to hear you out there. 🙏
