Masterclass: Regenerative Business with Carol Sanford

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Carol Sanford is a globally recognized thought leader working side by side with Fortune 500 and new economy executives in designing and leading systemic business change and design. Her books are now required reading at leading business and management schools including Harvard, Stanford, Haas Berkeley and MIT.

As it stands, “best practices” in business are undermining success and reducing workers to mere cogs in a machine. We need to be igniting intrinsic motivation everywhere, creating systems that speak to the unique essence of the individuals, that speak to the buyers who count on us and those who are beneficiaries of a business.

In this Next Economy Masterclass, global regenerative business thought leader Carol Sanford will share and explore the design principles that embed enormous possibilities into any organisation for people to grow beyond what is deemed possible: to be increasingly entrepreneurial, innovative, and responsible in their business and personal actions.

This Masterclass cohort will explore together:

  • What a regenerative businesses looks like and how it functions
  • The seven new performance indices and what to measure to improve business, planetary processes and social systems
  • Business design practices that have the greatest impact on eradicating racism, inequality, genderism and unfair labour practices
  • The One Growth strategy that is better for Earth, social systems and human potential
  • What we must stop doing in work design to improve business, human development and market place positioning simultaneously
  • Why flattening the hierarchy does not make things better, and what to do instead
  • How motivation really works and how to set people ‘on fire’, benefiting all stakeholders
  • How to create non-displaceability in the market no matter the nature of business—from commodity to bespoke offerings

Join Small Giants Academy for this rare opportunity to be guided by Carol Sanford, as an intimate Masterclass cohort, through the philosophies and practices which elevate businesses into catalytic and regenerative leaders.

Places are strictly limited so we apologies in advance for disappointment.

Our masterclasses are designed as deep-dive exercises that give you an opportunity to explore and apply concepts and theories from the next economy. Our masterclasses are workshops not lectures and as such we always recommend watching associated TED talks or reading associated articles before attending.
