Join us for four days of inspiring surf and ocean storytelling from around the world at the Noosa International Surfilm Festival (NISFF) 2026.

From award-winning feature documentaries and captivating short films to filmmaker Q&As and special guest appearances, NISFF celebrates the power of stories that connect cultures, communities and our shared love of the ocean.

Saturday 15 August

4:00pm – 6:15pm | Women In Surf

Celebrate the voices shaping surf culture across the globe in this special session featuring films by women filmmakers and stories largely centred on women surfers. Journey from Australia to far-flung coastlines through inspiring, thought-provoking, and adventurous storytelling with a good bunch of laughs too!

The session will also include live chats and Q&As with selected filmmakers and film stars.

7:00pm – 9:30pm | Evening Feature Session

Our Saturday evening session features the stunning feature film Niokobokk, accompanied by a selection of inspiring short films from around the world.

Enjoy filmmaker conversations and audience Q&As that bring these stories to life beyond the screen.

Sunday 16 August | Afternoon Session 2pm - 4.30pm

Close out the festival with a phenomenal feature film especially suited to aspiring young competitive shortboard riders and their families. A powerful and inspiring celebration of dedication, teamwork, resilience and the pursuit of excellence in surfing.

Additional short films and special guest conversations will also be included.
