No fleece left behind

Introducing Mill of Kintyre's first workshop series where we'll gather to explore some native breed fleeces. We'll learn what makes a fleece both suitable and unsuitable for processing, explore the process of taking a raw fleece to a finished item and the techniques used to achieve this. On completion of the workshop you'll have developed an understanding of our selected native breed sheep, got some hands-on processing experience and tried your hand at spindle spinning. The culmination of this will be the creation of a small item for you to take away as a reminder of your experience at Mill of Kintyre.
