No Laughing Matter’s Event for Stepping Out’s 40th Anniversary
Description
Join us for International Women's Month for a very special night in the heart of the west at the community owned and not-for-profit Petersham Bowling Club as we celebrate Stepping Out and the incredible work they have done over four decades supporting adult female survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This milestone fundraising event brings together live music from iconic Australian band Dog Trumpet, singer, actor and No Laughing Matter Director Zoe Carides, lots of laughs from comedian Chris Ryan, and the legendary Jean Kittson as our MC & panel facilitator. Our panel consists of Melissa Holmes (CEO of Stepping Out), Jess Hill (Author of “See What you Made me do”, Marie Claire Advocate of the Year), Kate Rowe (CSA survivor, author & recently on "Conversations" with Richard Fidler) & Tanya Lee OAM (creator of the internationally acclaimed "No Laughing Matter" podcast series)
Tickets $40 and go directly to supporting the vital, ongoing work of Stepping Out. Raffle prizes and auction items will be available on the night, plus you can donate extra via the ticketing link.
This evening is an opportunity to acknowledge the meaningful work of Stepping Out, enjoy some uplifting music and comedy, and connect with others in our local community who value the important work of social impact.
Get your tickets, tell your friends, and support the incredible work of Stepping Out.
