Nourish Workshop Series: Hero the Veggies with Sam Goodwin
Event description
WHO ARE WE
Farm My School is a not-for-profit organisation that collaborates with schools to promote healthy eating, ecological stewardship and connected communities.
The Farm My School Nourish workshop series has been designed to help families unlock affordable ways to grow and cook simple, nourishing food. Run by renowned chefs, food makers and our own Farm My School team, the workshops are designed to encourage simple and practical ways to think about food growing, health and wellbeing.
WHO YOU WORK WITH
Sam Goodwin, Co-owner and Head Chef at XO Bowls, will host this hands-on cooking workshop, and work alongside participants to guide them every step of the way.
WHAT YOU MAY LEARN
Get ready for a hands-on, down-to-earth cooking class that heroes the humble harvest. It will prove that good food really does grow from the ground up, whilst saluting Asian-style street food. Participants will walk away with new skills to incorporate at home, and they can either enjoy the meal there and then, or take it home to savour!
WHAT YOU NEED
Please bring your own containers to the workshop, and wear comfortable shoes for standing for the duration of the workshop.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO
We work with organically-grown, seasonal produce from Farm My School, which are available to purchase via our weekly or subscription veggie boxes. YUM!
