Nourish Workshop Series: World of Bees with Thomas Earl
Event description
WHO YOU WORK WITH
Thomas Earl, Owner of Coastal Nectar, will host this hands-on workshop about the World of Bees.
There will also be a Farm My School educator for the first part of the session.
WHAT YOU MAY LEARN
Thomas will teach participants about pollination, queen bees, how honey is harvested, why bees are important, what challenges they are facing and why they are important to our environment.
There will also be a honey tasting and crafting a pure beeswax candle to take home.
This workshop will commence with a farm tour with a Farm My School educator to learn about regenerative farming, what produce is growing, and create their own seed bomb to plant at home.
