Join acclaimed Auckland-based poet, author, and playwright Dominic Hoey for a two-day creative writing workshop focused on short stories and novel writing.
Across the weekend, you’ll explore key storytelling techniques in a supportive and inspiring environment.
- Day One covers the fundamentals of writing fiction, with a focus on character development, dialogue, and story structure, including practical exercises and group discussions.
- Day Two dives into setting, point of view, and editing, with the opportunity to receive personalised feedback and workshop your writing in small groups.
