Event description

Come along to our free guided meditation and talk on Sunday, 26th November, which this month will be led by Lan-Hoa Le.

Lan-Hoa is a trained Calm-Abiding Meditation teacher and has been teaching meditation on the Coast for over 10 years.

Following the guided meditation, Lan-Hoa will lead a talk on how to view sufferings and hardships from a Buddhist perspective. People can easily be overwhelmed by their own or others' suffering. Lan-Hoa will explain the Four Noble Truths, a fundamental teaching in Buddhism, which helps to explain suffering, its causes and how to overcome them.

This meditation and talk is suitable for beginners, and also for experienced meditators who wish to enhance their practice. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair.

The entry is free, but donations are welcome to help us continue to offer classes and workshops, and periodically invite Tibetan Buddhist teachers to give teachings. The suggested donation for a session is $15.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for a cuppa and chat, and if you can, please bring along something to share for morning tea. We look forward to seeing you there!
