Dawes Point Park and East Circular Quay will have free managed access however once these areas reach capacity, no access will be permitted to these sites.
The Rocks has some of the best vantage points to view the New Year's Eve fireworks and with a wide variety of fabulous food and drinks venues—ranging from Sydney’s oldest pub to a number of restaurants and rooftop bars with spectacular views out over the harbour, you can make The Rocks your destination to ring in 2023.
The 2022 Sydney New Year’s Eve fireworks will be managed by the City of Sydney.

*Hickson Rd Reserve will be a licensed area for New Years Eve. Any person under the age of 18 is permitted at the event with a valid ticket however MUST be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian and under their direct supervision whilst in the licensed area for the duration of the event.
