Join artist Angharad Neal-Williams for a lunchtime hour-long workshop and learn to draw your surroundings with confidence. Take time to slow down and reflect on your environment using simple drawing techniques. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
Angharad will guide you through warm up drawing activities and introduce you to simple line-drawing techniques to help you focus on making rather than thinking. Follow artist’s prompts and tips to observe, draw and share what you witness in the present moment.
What you need: Just a keen interest in drawing. No prior skills needed.

This workshop is a part of Angharad Neal-Williams' residency Observational drawing at MPavilion Parkville Tuesday 16 – Friday 19 September 2025. Angharad will capture curious moments and scenes she observes from the pavilion and create layered drawings filled with imperfections.
