Screen printing workshop with Troppo Print Studio
Learn the basics of screen printing in this hands-on lunchtime hour-long workshop. Try printing your own design or stitch, patch and print onto the evolving artwork on display at MPavilion Parkville. Follow expert guidance to transfer designs onto screens and layer text and imagery on fabric and paper.
Join in, catch a breath, stitch in time, and breathe out.
What you need:
Wear closed toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting messy. We do provide aprons, but sometimes a blob of ink goes astray.
Bring an idea for a design or be inspired by your environment. No prior experience necessary.

This workshop is part of Troppo Print Studio residency Catch. The. Wind. running Tuesday 2 – Friday 5 September 2025 at MPavilion Parkville. The artists are taking over the pavilion with an evolving artwork – stitched, printed, and unfolding like a slow exhalation across the week.
