Join the Great Reef Census Workshop at Ocean Lovers Festival! Dive into one of the world’s biggest marine citizen science initiatives and discover how you can help protect the Great Barrier Reef—right from your phone.
In this interactive half-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to identify key corals and use an AI-powered platform to analyse reef images. With thousands of images needing analysis each year, your contribution helps provide critical data to support reef management and conservation. Whether you're a marine science enthusiast or just curious about coral reefs, come see how simple (and impactful!) it is to get involved.
