Dr. Aaron Eger is a marine scientist and conservation practitioner dedicated to protecting and restoring the world’s oceans. He is the Founder and Program Director of the Kelp Forest Alliance - a global initiative aiming to restore 4 million hectares of kelp forests by 2040.

Associate Professor Mathieu Pernice - University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
Associate Professor Mathieu Pernice is a marine biologist specialising in climate change and algal biotechnology, bridging academia and industry to drive sustainable biomanufacturing and Australia's bioeconomy through innovative algae-based solutions.
Dr. Pia Winberg - PhycoHealth
Dr. Pia Winberg is an unconventional marine scientist dedicated to turning research into action. As founder of Venus Shell Systems and PhycoHealth, she champions seaweed’s potential to combat ocean nitrogen pollution. Through pioneering research, industry collaboration, and entrepreneurship, Pia is proving that marine farming can restore ecosystems while nourishing both people and the planet.
