Oliver - Youth Auditions (9th Nov 2025)

Marie Clark Musical Theatre (MCMT) is thrilled to be bringing the beloved classic, Oliver! to The Arts Theatre stage in 2026 (performances 19th-27th June 2026).

If you're interested in being part of the cast for this iconic, heartwarming story based on one of Charles Dickens' most famous tales, we welcome you to audition!

AUDITION INFORMATION - YOUTH AUDITIONS

• When? 10.00am - 5.30pm on Sunday 9th November 2025

• Where? Hawthorn Community Centre (5 Frimley Grove, Hawthorn SA)

This event is to book auditions for the Youth roles in the show and is open to individuals aged 7-16 years. Please note:

• Young persons aged 16-20 who wish to be considered for the role of Artful Dodger should book for an Adult Audition. Those 14-16 years old should book for a Youth Audition, so they can also be considered for a role in the Youth Ensemble.

We are looking to establish a strong, multi-generational cast to tell this timeless tale. Adult Auditions can be booked here.

UPDATE 20.10.25 | Currently, all Adult Auditions and Youth Auditions are at capacity. We are presently checking bookings to ensure there are no double-ups, and we will be opening a new day for Adult Auditions on Saturday 8th November as well as additional timeslots for Youth Auditions (these timeslots may be included on Saturday 8th November and/or added to our existing audition day on Sunday 9th November). We will be opening up these new timeslots (for Adults and Youths) on Wednesday 22nd October at 6.30pm. Please make sure you are following our Facebook or Instagram so you don't miss out on our announcements, which will include the direct booking links.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

All youth auditionees will need to attend a Group Audition, where they will be asked to learn an excerpt of music, a segment of dance, and go through some character activities.

Only youth auditionees who are looking to apply for the role of Oliver or Artful Dodger must also need to book a separate 10-minute Individual Audition on the same day (please bring something quiet to occupy yourself with while you wait to be called for your Individual Audition).
