Description

Relief in Motion – Building Your Flow

Gentle Qigong for Strength, Ease and Confidence

Relief in Motion – Building Your Flow is the next step in your gentle movement journey. It is designed for people living with fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, chronic pain or arthritis who have a bit more capacity and want to grow a safe, repeatable Qigong sequence they can use at home.

Across six live 30-minute online classes you will revisit familiar Relief in Motion elements and knit them into a 20–25 minute flow that can be done standing or entirely seated. The emphasis is on smooth, rhythmic repetition rather than intensity. You are invited to find your version of each movement, adjusting range, tempo and stance so your body feels supported, not pushed.

Over the weeks you will build towards two take-home practices: a shorter “low energy” routine and a fuller flow for days when you have more capacity. Both are designed to soothe pain, ease stiffness and support calm focus without tipping you into that familiar pattern of doing a lot on good days and then needing long recovery time afterwards.

Recordings are available if you cannot attend live, and you can always turn your camera off or rest as needed.

Replays will be available until the end of December 2026.

If you are not sure whether this is the right level for you, or you would like to talk through your situation, you are very welcome to reach out for a chat via info@sarahdivineqigong.com.

✅ Improved joint mobility, soft strength and coordination without high impact or strain

✅ A felt sense of your body working as one integrated chain rather than isolated sore spots

What you will walk away with – and why it matters

Key takeaway

Why it is valuable for tender bodies and busy minds

1. A full 20–25 minute Relief in Motion flow

Having one clear routine reduces decision fatigue, builds familiarity and supports consistent practice without needing to design your own workout.

2. A shorter “low-energy day” version

On harder days you can still move safely for 8–12 minutes, supporting circulation, joint health and mood without risking a flare or crash.

3. Easier shoulders, spine and hips

Gentle spirals, waves and weight shifts help lubricate joints, release protective tension and improve posture with minimal load on sensitive areas.

4. Soft strength and balance

Small, repeated movements build stabilising muscles around ankles, knees, hips and core, making everyday tasks less tiring and more secure.

5. Breath-led pacing tools

Matching breath and movement helps regulate the autonomic nervous system, which is associated with calmer pain responses and clearer focus.

6. A kinder training mindset

You will practise listening to your limits, choosing seated or standing, and adjusting intensity so movement becomes a supportive ally rather than something to fear.

Quick FAQ

Is this suitable if I still have pain and fatigue?
Yes, provided you can manage around 25 minutes of very gentle movement with options to sit. Everything is low-impact and you are encouraged to adjust, rest or stay seated at any time.

Do I need to have done the previous Relief in Motion course?
No, but it helps. If you are completely new to Qigong or have very limited capacity, Relief in Motion – Gentle Foundations may be a better starting point.

Can I stay seated for the whole class?
Absolutely. You will always be shown seated options, and you can mix seated and standing in whatever way works for your body that day.

What equipment do I need?
A stable chair, a bit of space around you, comfortable clothing and, if you are standing, bare feet or flat shoes with good grip.

Will there be recordings?
Yes. All sessions are recorded and replays are available until 31/12/26 so you can revisit or make up classes as needed.
