Event description

Panel Discussion and Centre Tour
Creating Routines and Schedules to Support Busy Families

We invite you to attend a meet and greet panel session with our team on listening and responding to children’s needs, to be followed by a tour of our service, as part of our Open House series of events.

Members of our Integrated Team of Educators and Allied Health therapists will provide you with an overview how you can tune in to your child’s needs to create predictable, consistent routines and give them opportunities to make choices and gain independence. Families are welcome to ask questions during the session, and you can also submit any questions you’d like answered by our team when you book your ticket here. Alternatively, please email any questions or topics you’d like discussed to childrensservices@theinfantshome.org.au.

The panel discussion will cover:

  • How routines, consistency and predictability help children to feel safe and calm, and support positive behaviour
  • The importance of creating opportunities for children to make choices and have a ‘voice’ in what happens in their day
  • Tips and strategies for creating routines and structure that will work for your child – and you!
  • What you can do if you are concerned about your child’s learning, development or behaviour

Following the meet and greet panel session, families are invited to participate in a tour of our service to see our beautiful learning environments firsthand, meet our team and to observe our work in action.
