IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Due to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining two performances of the 2022 Chamber Music Series. All ticket holders will receive refunds for their bookings automatically.

We are currently working towards an exciting new program for 2023, and look forward to sharing further details with you soon.




Prior information:

Our 2022 season of concerts returns to our rehearsal studio, Joan Hammond Hall, in Melbourne's Southbank. A program of favourites and new perspectives, built for burgeoning classical explorers through to seasoned concert-goers. It's a celebration of the diverse voices that have contributed to classical music as we know and love it today, and we can't wait for you to experience it with us.

Step into late 18th Century Paris, a city on the edge of revolution, and meet master composer, virtuoso violinist, and champion fencer, Joseph Bologne, ‘Chevalier de St George’.

Bologne - Symphonie Concertante in A Major for Two Violins Op. 9, No 2

As we close out the year, a concert about nostalgia and remembering, reflecting on the year past.

Listed prices are exclusive of booking fees.

    The Foyer and Box Office will be open from one hour prior to each performance.

  • Am I eligible for a concession ticket?
    Concession tickets are available to holders of the following proof-of-concession cards provided that the card is valid at the time of purchase: Australian Government issued Seniors Card, Pension Card or Healthcare Card, State Government issued Seniors Card, or Public Transport Victoria Concession Card.
    You may be asked to provide proof of concession to venue staff when attending performances.
  • Does Orchestra Victoria support the National Companion Card Scheme?
    Yes, Orchestra Victoria supports the National Companion Card scheme. For more information about the Companion Card, visit www.companioncard.gov.au.  To book tickets using your Companion Card, please phone Orchestra Victoria on (03) 9694 3600.
  • Is there someone I can speak to about my or a person on my booking's specific access requirements?

  • What are the seating arrangements at the performance?
    Audience seating for this performance is general admission.
  • Is there an onsite café?
    Unfortunately we do not have an onsite café, however package holders receive 10% off at Blondie Bar, conveniently located across the road on Southbank Boulevard, for bookings made on performance dates in the 2022 Chamber Music Season.
