Event description

Learn how the neighborhood developed and how a school lent its name to “the Laurel.” See first- hand the impact that Interstate 580 has had. We’ll meet at the community Laurel Art Garden, and later see where a Goodyear blimp delivered the rolls of film for the 1939 opening night of the Hopkins Theater, the original tenant in the “Goodwill building.” Easy; a level walk
