From page to picture, cover to credits — a cinematic book club for readers and watchers alike.
Presented in collaboration by Book + Bottle and Green Light Cinema, this bi-monthly series invites you to explore iconic (and unexpected) book-to-film adaptations. Your $30 ticket includes a copy of the book (available for pickup at Book + Bottle) and admission to a special screening at Green Light Cinema. After the screening, our resident film enthusiast, Lexi, will facilitate a thoughtful discussion on the adaptation process.
Our November book is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott followed by the movie Little Women directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, and Meryl Streep.
We'll be screening the movie at 6pm on Sunday, November 23rd.
