Get ready for a fantabulous afternoon full of fun and creative energy!
This fundraiser has been created to raise much needed funds for our special project supporting underprivileged students in Kolkata India, all of the profits from this gathering will be directed to this cause to help this children and their families rise up from generational poverty.
During this special afternoon, we will be channelling our inner Frida to bring to life our very own pair of canvas shoes. We will supply the shoes (please select your size when you purchase a ticket) and sharpies for your creation. We will have an artist who will take your through some tips and techniques, she is the one who is responsible for the pictures you see on our promotional banner. She will be available to assist you where needed.
You can bring your own embellishments such as buttons, sewing kit, transfers as you wish to spruce up your creation.
Afternoon tea (vegan and gluten free options will be available) will be served halfway through our day.
Our event will be held at RAW Garden on the lands of the Boon Wurrung people, a stunning oasis in the middle of Brighton where stories are shared and friendships forged. The space we are working in will be undercover and heated in case of dreadful weather.
