Painting Figures - Representation and Identity
Description
Join us for a relaxed, creative workshop where you can explore identity in your own way.
This workshop is a queer, neurodivergent, autistic and disability affirming space .
Facilitated by Gary Bigeni, this session invites you to paint and customise your own figure. Using colour, texture, and detail, you can create something that reflects you — your personality, your story, your identity, or whatever feels right in the moment.
There’s no right or wrong way to do this. You might create something that looks like someone, something symbolic, or something completely imaginative.
This is a low-pressure, sensory-aware space where you can:
take your time
work at your own pace
sit quietly or just observe
connect with others (or not — totally up to you)
All materials are provided, and no art experience is needed.
Come as you are, and create something that feels like you
