    Event description

Ever wondered how students can still use the classroom art supplies they've come to know and love - the ones you know can be relied upon for your instruction and their exploration - but more sustainably? Then this Professional Development opportunity is for you!

Join Sustainable Artist and Primary School Teacher Angela Stephenson - a.k.a Mona Litta Art - as she guides you through a series of tasks that you can use with your students that not only teaches content knowledge from the Australian Visual Arts Curriculum but also investigates sustainable practices geared to make painting in your sustainable Visual Arts program easy and fun! Integrating the Visual Arts, Biological and Chemical Sciences, Media as well as the Environment, this workshop is a dive in to the future you shouldn't miss. No one has all the answers, and there is no "best practice" yet but come and journey with me at Mona Litta Art for "better practice" content and pedagogy.

Materials will be supplied in this curriculum-aligned workshop. As are the Professional Standards to gain your PD points. Just bring your curiosity for all things artistic and sustainable. Limited places - don't miss out!
